Kyrgyz parliamentary delegation holds series of meetings in the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Skopje

The autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which is taking place these days in Skopje (Macedonia) involves 170 parliamentarians from 57 OSCE participating states, the SDPK Faction secretariat reported.

The agenda of the current session is dedicated to improving the efficiency of management to promote economic development, confidence-building, development of democratic institutions and human rights, as well as improving the management of international migration based on human rights in the OSCE region.

The Kyrgyz delegation consisting of SDPK faction leader Isa Omurkulov, leader of Ata-Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev and leader of Onuguu-Progress faction Bakyt Torobaev, except their presentations on various topics on the agenda, in the framework of this session also held separate meetings with President of the Parliamentary Assembly Christine Muttonen and deputy chairman Guliyev at the initiative of the latter to discuss further effective participation of the Jogorku Kenesh, in particular its delegation in the Assembly.

Besides, on the margins of the autumn session the internal meetings of the OSCE PA delegates representing the Social Democratic Party were held to coordinate the multi-party cooperation within the Assembly. Leaders of the group invited leader of the SDPK faction of Kyrgyzstan Isa Omurkulov into their group. The agreement is reached at the meeting to strengthen cooperation between the Social Democrats and the leading European social democrats associations.
