SDPK, Kyrgyzstan, Bir Bol form parliamentary majority coalition
The Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan and Bir Bol formed the majority coalition of the Parliament. Secretariat of the Social Democratic Party’s faction reported.
It is noted that a coalition agreement was singed as a result of negotiations. The composition of the parliamentary majority includes 68 deputies out of 120. The leader of SDPK Isa Omurkulov was elected the chairman of the coalition.
The coalition of the parliamentary majority nominates Sooronbay Jeenbekov for the post of the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The opposition as before is formed by Respublika – Ata Jurt, Onuguu-Progress and Ata Meken. For the sake of withdrawal of the last from the parliamentary majority, the Social Democrats have collapsed the previous coalition.
