“If it’s God’s will, the local elections and the referendum will be transparent and open,” the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said today after the presenting state awards ceremony.
According to him, some members of the CEC are among the awardees today, because the last elections were transparent and open. Now the Central Commission for Elections and Referendum has a task to hold the local elections, referendum and then the new presidential election at the same level.
The President once again thanked all the awardees for their wishes of health to him.
Recall, heading for the US to attend the UN General Assembly, the President was forced to abandon the trip. He became ill in Istanbul and was taken to hospital. Later on, he was treated in Moscow.
