Kalicha Umuraliyeva: Parliament adopted unconstitutional law in field of land use
“Parliament adopted an unconstitutional law in field of land use,” the head of “Our Right” NGO Kalicha Umuraliyeva stated to 24.kg news agency during a rally.
According to her, there is no need to amend the existing Land, Housing, Civil Codes, the more so, the initiative of the deputies is unconstitutional. “We intend to appeal to the Constitutional Chamber. We can not allow the authorities to seize the land at a whim,” Kalicha Umuraliyeva said.
At the moment, more than 70 people have gathered at “White House”. It is expected that 150 citizens will take part in the rally. They demand from MPs to withdraw the bill and impose moratorium on changes in codes. Police officers are watching the public order.
