Referendum starts in diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan abroad
Referendum on amending the Constitution started today at 8.00 a.m. in the diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan abroad. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, the referendum began in the embassies of Kyrgyzstan in Japan (+3), Korea (+3), Malaysia (+2), China (+2), Kazakhstan, and the Consulate General in Guangzhou (+2), the Consular office in Vladivostok (+4), Krasnoyarsk (+1), the Vice Consulate in Novosibirsk (+1), the Consulate General in Almaty.
Voting takes place with the use of new voting technologies: there is identification of voters by biometric data, automatically reading ballot boxes, which eliminate inaccuracies in the counting of votes.
